Meet Wael Ismail, Financial Analyst at PyratzLabs

Introducing Wael Ismail, Financial Analyst at PyratzLabs! Joined PyratzLabs in June, 2021!

Originally from Lebanon, Wael moved abroad after graduating from high school to pursue his bachelor studies in London, United Kingdom. Since a young age, Wael had a passion for numbers and mathematics. This led him to complete a degree in Finance, at Bayes Business School, where he graduated top of his class. During his studies, Wael worked at Deloitte’s audit department and completed a couple internships in a commercial bank and a brokerage firm.However, he wasn’t interested in working for a big corporation.
Wael’s interest in technology led him to take his education one step further by moving to Paris and pursuing a Master’s degree in Big Data and Business Analytics. This is where things started to fall into place for him.

Wael had previously heard about Bitcoin during one of his finance classes, but hadn’t really understood the technology behind it. It was during his postgraduate studies at ESCP Business School that he became obsessed with learning everything there is to know about blockchains, how they worked and their utilities.
Then, he met Bilal EL ALAMY, who was his teacher at the time. They kept in touch for a while until Bilal launched PyratzLabs and offered Wael a job there as a Financial Analyst.
Wael was PyratzLabs’ first employee!

As a Financial Analyst, Wael’s job consists in managing the company’s Finances with Maxime Sarthet. He is in charge of tasks such as Financial modelling, Financial reporting, and also conducts tokenomics consulting missions for clients. In addition, he spends a lot of time scouring the markets and researching different protocols hoping to find the next big opportunity!

⚡️A couple months after joining PyratzLabs, Wael adopted a puppy Shiba-Inu named Luffy. Luffy is Dogami’s official mascot!
